It's true! APL has new downloadable eBooks have from OverDrive , as of Wed., Dec. 17.
While access to our large collection of eBooks at NetLibrary remains unchanged, now patrons can download an eBook to their PC/laptop—AND...(Drumroll, Please) to a mobile device near you.
After a one-time software download of the Mobipocket reader, these eBooks can be quickly downloaded to a mobile device, including the BlackBerry, Treo, Centro, and other compatible devices, (sorry, not the Kindle or the iPhone.)
Be sure YOU scope out the OverDrive Quick Start Guide, for the sections covering Mobipocket eBooks--so you can direct a patron to it, if they need help. More help needed? Ask patrons to email AskALibrarian.
Not sure you're ready? Watch this short video for tips on how to register your PID for each computer or device (You can have up to 3 PIDs.) and how to navigate through the Mobi reader.
